Overview and Outlook for the Insurance Industry: Challenges and Opportunities

The presentation includes an industry financial snapshot as of year-end 2012 and a brief financial overview of the L/A sector and the P/C sector by segment. Another section discusses insurance industry employment trends, noting that for the last 15 years overall industry employment has stayed in a narrow band between 2.30 million and 2.37 million but that there have been dramatic changes in employment among the major subsectors. A final section focuses on investments.
