NEW YORK, August 2, 2017 — Sean Kevelighan, the Insurance Information Institute’s (I.I.I.) chief executive officer, is testifying on Thursday, August 3, at 10 a.m., at a U.S. Senate hearing on “Insurance Fraud in America: Current Issues Facing Industry and Consumers.”

 

The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation’s Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety, Insurance, and Data Security is convening tomorrow morning in Room 253 of the Russell Senate Office Building, Washington, D.C.

 

The hearing will examine insurance fraud trends and explore the tools available to states, insurers and consumers to protect themselves against these crimes.
