Homeowners Insurance Expenditures Expected to Increase 6 percent in 2006
The average expenditure for homeowners insurance was $764 in 2005, according to a December 2007 report by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. The Insurance Information Institute (I.I.I.) projects that the average homeowners insurance expenditure increased by 6 percent to $810 in 2006.
