Jeff Burton is the Building Code Manager for the Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS).
Before joining IBHS, he was a planning manager in the Department of Developmental Services for the City of Bradenton, FL, where he was involved in building code enforcement. Prior to that, he was a building inspector with the city, as well as a building contractor.
He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration-Urban Management and Planning at the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics.
