This PowerPoint report, presented by Robert Hartwig, president to the Insurance Information Institute, was delivered at a Joint House/Senate Staff Briefing on terrorism risk on Capitol Hill. The presentation provides a summary of President’s Working Group Report on TRIA as of April 2014, a reviews the potential consequences of a failure to reauthorize the program. Recently introduced legislation to reauthorize TRIA is summarized as are protections for taxpayers.
