This PowerPoint report, presented by Steven Weisbart, chief economist of the Insurance Information Institute, at the Casualty Actuaries Special Interest Seminar in Baltimore, MD, examines the increasing number of natural disasters affecting the United States.  This report gives statistics of the financial loss and cost of all types of disasters from the last decade and marks the most recent years as the costliest. The presentation gives details information on all types of disasters from last few years.
