NEW YORK, Oct.  28, 2021—Contessa Brewer, the CNBC correspondent, will interview Sean Kevelighan, CEO, Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I) at the Joint Industry Forum (JIF) on Thursday, Dec. 2, the Triple-I announced today.

“Insurance is one of the industries I cover for CNBC, so I look forward to discussing the top issues of the day at one of its premier events,” Brewer stated.  “Given 2021’s extreme weather, high-profile cyberattacks, and economic volatility, insurance has been in the news constantly so there are plenty of things to talk about.”

The 2021 JIF is being held at the New York Hilton Midtown, 1335 Avenue of the Americas, New York City. The daylong program, which brings together the most accomplished thinkers and leaders in insurance, gets underway on Thursday, Dec. 2 at 9:30 a.m.  Brewer’s 30-minute interview of Kevelighan will start at 10:45 a.m.

“CNBC is a recognized world leader in business news and reaches millions of Americans across all of its platforms,” said Kevelighan. “Triple-I looks forward to having a robust discussion with one of the business journalists, Contessa Brewer, who understands the important role insurance plays in economic growth and development.”

The JIF agenda also includes panels on Insurance Economics, Insurer Talent and Recruitment initiatives, and the societal costs of Runaway Litigation.

The JIF registration fee is $995 per person.  JIF attendees who are employed by Triple-I-member companies, insurance industry trade associations, and not-for-profit organizations pay a discounted JIF registration fee.  The in-person event will be conducted in accordance with New York City’s Covid-19 protocols.
