SPONSORED BY

This PowerPoint report explores in depth the factors that are driving adverse passenger auto loss trends in Georgia, including lower gas prices, higher speed limits and a higher number of drivers on the road. The presentation begins with an overview of financial data and socio-economic data to contextualize and explain the trend. Georgia lags in the region and in the U.S. overall in private passenger profitability. Frequency, severity and loss ratios are up in Georgia, with auto fatalities rising at three times the nationwide rate, followed by South Carolina and Kentucky. Collision loss ratio is trending upward, with comp frequency and severity typically tied to weather events.
