In this Keynote Address, Insurance Information Institute CEO, Sean Kevelighan, gives a wide-ranging summary on the state of the insurance industry today, with focus placed on underwriting and financial trends; the economic and cultural impact of COVID-19—and insurers’ initiatives to bring relief to consumers; industry-wide initiatives and practices to ensure greater fairness and equality for customers and in its workforce; and a brief introduction of the Resilience Accelerator and its goals enlisting people and communities to better manage risk and become more resilient.
