NEW YORK, Oct. 6, 2020— The Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I) today announced the launch of Amplify, a public relations (PR) consultancy designed to help insurance industry member organizations drive increased awareness of their mission and deepen their industry engagement.

Amplify is the re-imagination of a decades-long Triple-I program which offered PR consulting services to largely insurance nonprofit organizations, and now will deliver more comprehensive services to a broader group of organizations with insurance industry ties.

“Over time, we’ve seen an increased demand for PR services from trade associations and professional organizations that have limited communications staff or seek a stronger connection to the industry,” said Sean Kevelighan, CEO, Triple-I. “To address this need, we developed an agency model and engaged professionals with strong communications and insurance backgrounds to steer the effort.”

Kevelighan added that Triple-I’s affiliation with The Institutes enhances its mission and value proposition through services such as Amplify.

“This is a great opportunity to combine two powerful and trusted brands to take the insurance industry further into the 21st century,” Kevelighan stated. “The Triple-I’s mission will continue to be the trusted source of unique, data-driven insights to inform and empower consumers on a larger platform.”

Some Amplify clients include long-standing insurance trade and professional associations, rating bureaus and nonprofits, such as the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), the National Conference of Insurance Guaranty Funds (NCIGF) and National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), all of whom derive value from working with the Triple-I in this capacity.

“Drawing on Triple-I’s leadership role in the insurance industry, Amplify helps organizations communicate more effectively with their members, the media, legislators, regulators and the public,” said John Novaria, executive director of Amplify. “As we’ve seen in the current crisis, strategically sound communication is imperative for fostering unity, conveying confidence and promoting transparency.”
