CoreLogic has deemed the wildfire risk level for almost 900,000 residences, situated in 13 U.S. states, as high to very high.

Governor Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency in California on Friday, July 31, mobilizing additional firefighting and disaster response resources. Moreover, FEMA announced on August 3 that it has authorized the use of federal funds to assist California in combating the Rocky Fire, which is burning in Colusa, Lake and Yolo counties.
