James P. Ballot is senior advisor of the I.I.I.'s Strategic Communications/Lead Storyteller, with chief stakeholder responsibilities in industry- and consumer-facing content messaging and content strategy; content and marketing; and creation of social media, video and web content on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, and the III.org website.
Among the projects overseen and led by Jamey at I.I.I. are the creation, launch, and day-to-day operations of the Check20 consumer email newsletter program; scripting/conceptual development, and creative direction of the popular “I’s on Insurance” video series; creative direction and content creation for I.I.I.’s award-winning Know Your Plan app, and the mid-2016 relaunch of the popular Know Your Stuff Home Inventory Tool; as well as numerous other digital media platforms and campaigns.
A graduate of the Newhouse and Maxwell Schools at Syracuse University, he has more than 20 years’ experience in digital and print copywriting/content creation and content strategy in book publishing, email marketing and the direct literary markets.
